TMCC Program Simplistic Poster
Objective
Create a poster that highlights and explains a program at Truckee Meadows Community College. The design should be simplistic while still expressing the program through color and typography. The hierarchies should be easily understood and obvious to the reader. Include one graphic that represents the program.
Solution
The poster utilizes colors to represent the program, the colors used draw inspiration from a condition called synesthesia where you see colors when listening to music. I chose purple as my main color as I feel it represents the calming effect of music and used a split complementary color palette for the other colors. I chose to use a microphone as the graphical element to represent the singing aspect of music.
